Well I'm sure we all do it differently as there may not be flies or apples around but I do like to start with taking the scalp off first to get to the juicy brain bits.
This is... I.. I don't know what I just played and I have no idea what's happening. It's weird, slightly disturbing, and made me feel uncomfortable. Great job, I love it! Visual and music are very fitting for the whole theme too!
i'm currently making my bachelor thesis around dadaism and absurdism in games and this "game" of yours its a really good demonstration of why im loving my work. really great job mate!
We just played this ravenous game and are surrounded by questions.
How much of an artistic path are you building around this game ? Is this meant to be part of a bigger ensemble or is this a one shot experience ? We would have liked the short introduction phrases to be placed inside the game and not outside (we only read them afterwards on the ludum dare website), we were looking for some connexion to one character toward another and felt like this could be part of a three or more part series.
We do salute the work you put on the aesthetics and sound and are very fond of the limpy arms : they are the bests !!!
the game is definitely experimental and spontaneous. however, i think it reflects my personal art a lot more than my other games tend to, and i hope to blend the two more in the future than i have previously.
i don't plan ahead like that i'm afraid. if these guys follow me into the future you will absolutely see more of them, but i can't promise anything.
